Description of holiday chalet in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Rhone-Alpes

Set in the middle of Plaine des Praz in the sunniest quarter of the Chamonix valley, this new build chalet is a perfect place to spend a wonderful holiday. The spacious living areas of the chalet have a lovely open plan design, making the most of the windows looking onto the garden, from where there are unobstructed views of Mont Blanc and Les Drus.

The ground floor consists of a living area with leather sofas, a dining area with table to seat 8, and an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar. This area is tiled, with underfloor heating, but also contains a feature open fireplace, which adds warmth and atmosphere to the room, especially during a big snow storm. The French windows open onto a lovely wooden decked area and garden, perfect for a bbq in summer, or building snowmen in the winter. There is a stereo CD system with iPod dock in the living room, and the kitchen is well equipped with modern oven, hob, combi microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The open plan nature of the living area allows the cook to enjoy a glass of wine with the group whilst preparing a slap up meal for everyone.

On the this floor there is also a single bedroom, together with shower room with wash basin and WC, whilst adjacent to the front door of the chalet there is a large heated room, used for storing skis and boots in the winter and bikes in the summer.

On the lower ground floor there is a separate TV room, with HD home cinema system, Freesat TV, games console and comfy sofas. There is also a sauna room containing sauna, shower and home gym, plus a separate laundry room containing washing machine and drier.

The first floor is reached via an open staircase and consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms all have wooden floors, whilst the bathrooms are tiled with underfloor heating:
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom suite consists of a large double bedroom with king size bed, a large en-suite bathroom/dressing room with fitted wardrobes, double wash basins, shower and WC. Both rooms have access to a first floor south facing private balcony, from which there are views to the Mont Blanc massif. The master bedroom is large enough for the addition of a cot on request.
Bedroom 2: This is a double bedroom, with built-in wardrobe, and access to a balcony with views of Flegere, Le Tour and Les Drus.
Bedroom 3: This is a twin bedroom, with built-in wardrobe and access to a balcony with views of Flegere, Le Tour and Les Drus.
Bedroom 4: Is on the ground floor and contains a single bed that can have a second bed (bunk bed) added if required
Family Bathroom: Contains large double ended bath, separate shower, twin wash basins and WC.

The chalet is located in a private road. It has underground parking for one car, and off-street parking for 2 cars. This is a beautiful chalet, which is finished to a high specification. It is in a quiet and peaceful location, yet convenient for everything the Chamonix valley has to offer. It is a perfect place to spend quality time with friends or family.
