Description of holiday chalet in Alpe d'Huez, Rhone-Alpes

The Chalet Pressing is a very cosy chalet which is situated in a prime location in the heart of the old town of Alpe d’Huez. It is a traditional old style chalet which has been newly renovated. The chalet is a very short walk to the nearest lifts and also gives easy access to the bars and amenities of the town. Accommodation is in four bedrooms, one of which has an additional two beds in a loft mezzanine area accessed via a staircase. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The chalet has a spacious living and dining area which opens out onto a large south facing balcony with stunning views over the Ecrins National Park. The balcony is complete with hot tub - the perfect place to enjoy the scenery!

Room 1: Second floor large dual aspect south/east facing triple room with en-suite shower and WC.

Room 2: Spacious second floor south facing double room with en-suite bathroom and WC.

Room 3: Third floor south facing twin room with en-suite shower and WC.

Room 4: Third floor south facing twin room with staircase leading to a loft mezzanine area with 2 twin beds (please note that the mezzanine area is in the eaves and does not have a full height ceiling). En-suite shower and WC.

There is a fully equipped kitchen – Large oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge .Utility room with large freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. Ski room with ski boot heater rack.

Directions

Follow the autoroute to Grenoble, then get on the A480 autoroute and follow signs for Sisteron/Gap. Take exit N°8 "Gap, Briançon, Vizille - Stations de l'Oisans" which joins the RN85, then the D1091 to Bourg d'Oisans, then the RD211. The Mythical ascent of the 21 bends will be the final climb to get to Alpe d'Huez.
