    Description

    Ghyll Pool has been designed for comfort and relaxation. The main room has a living area at one end with leather furniture, a television and DVD player and a selection of books and games.
    At the other end is a dining kitchen refurbished in 2014 with 4 ring hob, oven/grill, microwave, fridge-freezer and full size dishwasher.

    French doors lead from the living area onto an extensive deck. This has a table and chairs for dining with the superb views across the valley to Black Crag.

    The deck may be enclosed to provide a safe space for children and dogs.

    Separate double and twin bedrooms accomodate up to 4 (no sofa beds).

    The bathroom has been refurbished in 2014 with WC, basin and shower.

    Bed linen is included in the rent.

    The lodge is set in its own garden among mature trees. There is designated parking for two cars. Please note that access is down 21 shallow steps with a hand rail.

    Location description

    Ghyll Pool is a comfortable log cabin on a small estate of privately owned cabins set among mature woodland at Neaum Crag. It is in the heart of the Lake District and within easy reach of the major fells, lakes and towns. It is close to Grasmere with its connections with Wordsworth, the famous Lake Poet. Brantwood, home of John Ruskin, is also close by.

    Directions

    Ghyll Pool is located at the entrance to the Langdale Valley near the hamlet of Skelwith Bridge. This is served by the bus from Ambleside up the Langdale Valley. A car is useful but not essential as their is a wealth of walking from the doorstep.
