Gite-Retaud is a bungalow adjoining the owners property with it's own separate very large private garden in which there is a heated swimming pool with decking and sunloungers.
Every care has been taken to ensure you have everything you need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. A welcome pack will be waiting for you after your long journey.

There is a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave.
Spacious lounge and dining area with seating for 6 people.
Bedroom 1 and 2 have double beds and bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
A newly fitted bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and sink/vanity unit and heated towel rail. Separate toilet.
Private patio areas - both front and back with BBQ table and chairs.

Ideal location for cycling on the quiet lanes around the village.
Cycles available free at the gite.
The historic town of Talmont is only 20 mins away: with it's ancient church and cobbled streets filled with arts and craft shops.
The famous Zoo at Palmyre near Royan is less than one hour away as is the Aquarium at La Rochelle.

Cognac with it's many distilleries offering tours and tastings all year round is a 40 minute drive.
The Roman town of Saintes is only 10km and boasts many fine restaurants and chic shops, boat trips on the River Charente and a market most days.
The Roman Amphitheatre on the edge of the town is quite a spectacle.
