A pair of semi-detached bungalows in the quiet village of Pennington. On the edge of the yachting town of Lymington with its Saturday Market and 2 miles from the New Forest National Park where ponies, donkey's and cattle are free to roam over Forest roads and where you may also spot the occassional deer.
The bungalows are built to a very high standard and are fully accessible for the less able as they are completely wheelchair friendly.
Bench Cottage lounge is fitted with comfortable modern furniture including a riser/recliner chair. The master bedrooms come with electric foot and head riser beds. The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, full size oven and gas hob as well as a fridge with ice box. All kitchen utensils are supplied as is bedlinen, towels and tea towels.
The shower room has adjustable height wash basin and hand rails where requited.
Both cottages are identical except for the fact Bench Cottage has a second twin bedded room.
Off street parking is available and a small sitting area shared with other guests from the cottages.
For the benefit of our less able guests we have a list of accessible equipment available if required including a mobile Hoist, Shower Chair, Monkey Pole. walking frame etc. please enquire for full list

Location description
Bench Cottage and LIttle Bench sleeping up to 4 people are on the outskirts of the Yachting Town of Lymington in the South of England, on the edge of the New Forest National Park. From Lymington the Isle of Wight Ferry leaves all year round for trips to the Island. There are many attractions and places to visit from Beauliue Motor Museum, to beautiful Gardens, to Castles or to just watch the New Forest ponies wonder through village streets in the many pretty villages in the Forest where the ponies have right of wayLocal events

Directions
From Lyndhurst, take the A337 to Lymington. Approaching Lymington go under the railway arch and continue across mini roundabouts.
Continue straight on through the traffic lights and on passing a pelican crossing, bear right (signed New Milton, Christchurch and Milford-on-Sea). Keeping on this road go straight across a mini-roundabout with a garage on your left.
Take the 2nd turning on the right by a parade of shops (South Street), signposted Pennington Village. Continue for about half a mile through the village, the road becomes Ramley Road, and you will see a church on your left (St. Mark’s)
Take the 2nd turning on the right past the church, opposite the Common (Lodge Road) signposted Pennington Recreation Ground. The street sign for Lodge Road cannot be seen until you turn into the road. For Little Bench and Bench Cottage are to the rear of Our Bench.
Please drive along the right-hand drive, there is ample parking at the end and bring your arrival instructions with you.. We hope you enjoy your stay.

N.B. If coming via the M 27 leave at junction 3 immediately after the services and take the M271 towards Southampton and follow the signs to A35 Lyndhurst and then on to the A337. This misses the heavy traffic at Lyndhurst.
