Description of holiday bungalow in Chalong Bay, Phuket
Smile House is a collection of one and two bedroom bungalows surrounding a large pool. It is run by a husband and wife team backed up by some great Thai staff. There is a restaurant which serves great breakfasts (Many expats come for breakfast) and light lunches, I was a chef in my previous life and the food is quality home cooked food.
The resort is well kept and run in an unobtrusive and relaxed way.
We have plenty of local knowledge and our job is to fill your days here with relaxed calm days or plenty of activities.
Our job is to make sure you will want to join the many people who return year after year.
We have cars and motor bikes for hire so that you can explore the tropical Island of Phuket to its full extent.

Location description
Smile House is situated at the South end of Phuket Island between Chalong and Rawai. Chalong is the hub for scuba diveing and for fishing trips. Most boats on Phuket go from Chalong Pier. Rawai is a fishing port where the sea gypsies ply their trade. The catch is brought ashore at about 2 PM where an array of coulorful fish can be boght and either taken home or to the local restaurant where they will cook it for you. At Rawai you can hire a long tail boat either to explore the local islands or go fishing/snorkling for the day. At promthep cape is a great place to have a meal or a drink and watch the sun set. Nai Hern beach is our local beach and probably one of the most unspoit beaches on Phuket. Big Bhuda is only 6KM away where you get some of the best views of Phuket Island. Here as in any of the temples the monks will give you a blessing whatever your particular faith. This only scratches the surface of what to do localy many more things to do.Other activities

Directions
When arriving at Phuket international airport if you haven't asked us to pick you up then secure a taxi inside the airport before leaving departures (this is the cheapest). Ask the taxi driver to go to Chalong circle then head towards Rawai. We are situated about 1KM beyond Lemon Green petrol/gasoline station on the right hand side. Look for big yellow 'smiley' face. We are 200 meters at the end of the side road.
