Arden Cottage B&B is a delightful Grade II listed thatched building retaining many original features during its sympathetic restoration including original inglenook fireplace (with bread ovens), old beams, oak floorboards, Aga cooker and a wealth of other features that give it a wonderful warm, cosy, relaxed ambience.
The 3 guest bedrooms have character and charm with powerful showers, tea/coffee making facilities, DAB radios, hairdryer, comfortable beds and other "home from home" comforts.
On arrival Jane and Paul welcome you into their home with a warm smile, cup of tea with home-made cake. Breakfast is served in the delightful dining room or outside on the patio in summer.
There is a comfortable guest living room where a TV and DVD is available for guests to enjoy. Jane is also a qualified Bowen Therapist, so if you stay for a couple of days you could arrange to have a massage so you leave feeling relaxed and ready to face the world!
We are happy to take children and well-behaved dogs so that you can bring the whole family on holiday with you. At Arden Cottage we enjoy providing you with locally produced food and are happy to cater for any dietary requirements as long as we have prior notice.

Location description
West Somerset is full of the most beautiful countryside, making it ideal for walking, mountain-biking and horse-riding. For walkers you are close to the Quantock Hills, Exmoor and the very popular Coleridge Way.If you are interested in Steam Railways, you have the West Somerset Steam Railway that runs from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. This is a wonderful way to travel, stopping off along the way at the picturesque village of Dunster to wander around the Castle, Dolls House and Watermill. At Blue Anchor you can promenade along the seafront, pausing at the Driftwood Cafe for a well-earnt cup of tea and piece of cake!
The ancient town of Watchet, along with its harbour, is also worth a visit to look around the museum and browse in the shops. If you love to visit gardens, Hestercombe Gardens are a must.

Directions
From London and the East travel West on the M4 to junction 20. Head South West on the M5.
At junction 23 exit the motorway, signposted Bridgwater. As you approach Bridgwater look out for the signs to Minehead A39. Follow the A39 for approximately 17 miles.
As you enter Williton over small bridge continue for 700 yds until you see Bishopsgate Vets on left. Immediately indicate as Arden Cottage is the next gateway on your right. If you see Threshers off licence you have gone too far!
Directions from the South. Pick up M5. Exit motorwy at junction 24 and follow road signposted to Minehead A39 and follow directions as above.
Directions from Taunton. Travel on A38.
As you enter Williton at the mini-roundabout head out on A39 towards Bridgwater. Go past The Huntsman pub and The White House Guest House. When you see Threshers on left, indicate immediately as Arden Cottage is one house away from Threshers.
There is a good bus link from Taunton to Williton. A Taxi from Taunton will cost approximately £15 one way.
