Description of holiday b&b Puglia

We are pleased to welcome guests to our b & b in the heart of the famous Valle D'Itria. Accommodation for our guests is offered in a self-contained unit separate from our own villa. The room is well-furnished with a comfortable, large double bed and an en-suite shower room. There is plenty of information provided to enable guests to make the most of their stay and we are always on hand to offer advice and suggestions re. excursions, local attractions and restaurants ( although we can't claim to have tried them all !).
One feature of our accomodation that past guests have found useful is that we provide keys to both the guest room and the property gate so that guests can feel free to come and go as they please.
As we are aware that many of our guests, eapecially those using Ryanair, are likely to arrive rather late in the evening, we are happy to offer a welcome drink on arrival.
Guests are also most welcome to use our private pool which is open between April and October and for which towels are provided.
In summary, we feel we can offer our guests a holiday with all the comforts of home and none of the hassle. If you have never visited this part of Italy before you will find plenty of unusual and interesting things to see - including the unique town of the trulli, Alberobello.

Location description

We are well placed in the heart of the Valle D'Itria for visitors to explore the beautiful countryside and local towns. The World Heritage Site of Alberobello - the capital of the trulli - is 30 minutes drive away. The ancient towns of Martina Franca, Ostuni and Locorotondo are within a few minutes drive. Further south is Lecce, the baroque town known as the Florence of the South. Both the Adriatic and Ionian coastlines are within easy reach for day trips.

The area is well-served by the budget airlines Ryanair with regular flights from Stansted to Brindisi and Bari airports. BA also fly to Bari from Gatwick in the summer months.

However, as we are in the countryside, a car is essential for visitors.
