The coast is about 15km away, where pretty harbours and sandy inlets provide a variety of seaside opportunities.

Location description

Each town of the Vallé, or along the coast, boasts a charming historic centre with winding streets and ancient houses - in summertime the myriads of restaurants spill their tables into the streets and the nightlife continues into the wee small hours. Beaches are very busy in July and August but almost empty for the rest of the year. There is a famous zoo at Fasano, 27km distant and for those interested in archeology there are the diggings and museum at Egnazia about 34km away.
