La Cachette Bed and Breakfast offers 2 large comfortable double rooms sleeping up to 5 people.
Our rooms are named after the local chateaux and both are large with exposed beams and seating area. Hairdryer in each room.
Montfort: Large double with wonderful valley view and large private shower room with toilet and washbasin
Fenelon: Large double (with additional single bed) and ensuite shower room with toilet and washbasin.
There is a sunny terrace where guests can relax with a glass of wine and take in the view. The terraced garden has sunloungers.
Our generous continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed lounge where there is a log fire out of season.
We have wi-fit internet connection.
We are sorry but we cannot accommodate children.

Location description
La Cachette is close to medieval Sarlat and the bastide town of Domme. An easy drive to the picturesque riverside villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. Rocamadour is an hour's drive. We are in the heart of the Perigord Noir region of the beautiful Dordogne where there is so much to see and do all within a short drive.Locally Grolejac has 2 restaurants within walking distance, a bar and boulangerie, canoe hire on the river, an excellent cycle path (we have 2 bikes for hire), a large lake with a sandy beach and a tennis court. Golf course and horse riding facilities close by.

Directions
By air there are 5 airports within a 2 hour drive. The new Brive Vallee de la Dordogne is the closest at approx 45 min drive (Jet 2 from Manchester and City Jet from London City airport), Bergerac is a 1.5 hour pretty drive. Limoges, Toulouse and Rodez are all within a 2 hour drive. All airports operate low cost flights and car hire.
By rail from Paris it is easiest to stop at Brive and hire a car. We are approx 1 hour from Brive.
By car via A20 autoroute exit junction 55 Souillac and are approx 40 mins away.
