Description of holiday b&b in Crevillent, Costa Blanca / Alicante

Welcome to El Rais
Holiday is more than crowded hotels in a more crowded seaside resort. For years, we have searched for a location where a holiday is still possible. In one of those many places which Spain knows, we have found “El Rais”. Somewhere inland, far enough from the mass tourism but still near for daytrips.

Crevillent, our village, is situated in the Costa Blanca, 15 miles at south of Alicante with its airport, El Altet. Casa El Rais is located 1.5 miles from the village, higher in the mountain. In a splendour of surroundings, with the higher mountains at the background. A view on the valley with the Mediterranean sea at about 15 miles. Renovated entirely and adapted for its guests to provide an unforgettable stay with the emphasis on silence and repose, on intimacy and domestic.

The different terraces offers the possibility of relaxing in the manner which you prefer. The sunbathers will find their appetites near the swimming pool or on the tower, with a splendid visibility on the valley and for the shade lovers, under the eucalyptus trees or the covered terrace of the bar. The swimming pool is a refreshment of 11 m. x 5 m. A delicious free swim or a water play with the other guests. Comfortable sun chairs are available for each guest.

Casa El Rais has four Guestrooms. Each decorated in an own style, to the needs of a comfortable stay. Each room has a separate entrance by the outside terrace with a view on the valley and the Mediterranean sea at about 15 miles. The bedrooms are arranged with their own bathroom, equipped with a large walk-in-shower, toilet and washbasin. Towels are available for use in the bedrooms.

The separate sittingroom in “Out of Africa” has a seat, which can be used as a sleep bench for two persons. (See the conditions).
Also the seat of “Spirit of India” can be transformed to a two person sleep bench. (see the conditions)

The Jamaica room is a little smaller, with a big shower and a small sitting place. We have especially arranged this bedroom for the young people under our guests. Because our minimum age is 12 years, it is understandable that these young people rather prefer not to share the bedroom with their parents. For that reason we decorated The Jamaica room into a young and colourful room, so that our youthful guests feels themselves at home at once.
