La Croix du Reh dates from 1620 when an inn was built in the small village Chateauneuf - la Foret in Haute Vienne in Limousin on the orders of the French King Henry IV.

Over the years it has been used for different purposes, but now, as a chambres d'hôtes (bed and breakfast), "La Croix du Reh" has come full circle to its original purpose - to give shelter to the travelers

The Garden Entrance to La Croix du Reh is the main entrance to the chambres d'hotes (bed and breakfast), where our guests get their first glimpse of our tranquil three-acre park.

We will make every effort to supply our guests each morning with a print-out of the local Limousin weather conditions and forecast. Departing guests can be supplied with a forecast of the weather for their destination.

Our Bed and Breakfast has five bedrooms different capacity:

Rose Room : accommodation for 2-3 people
Blue Room: accommodation for 1-2 people
Gold Room: accommodation for 2-3 people
Yellow Family suite: accommodation for 2-5 people
Lavender Family room : accommodation for 2-5 people

Baby cots can be provided for every bedroom

All rooms have en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Deposit/Booking Notes: Bookings secured upon receipt of 50% deposit via Paypal. Deposits are not refundable unless rooms are re-sold. Refunds ( minus administration fees) are made via Paypal. Dogs and cats welcome but at the sole responsibility of their owners. Bookings accepted for evening meals by no later than one day before arrival and cancellations also accepted by no later than one day before arrival. Breakfast served from 8:00 to 9:30 and 10:00 on Sundays unless by prior arrangement. Evening meals will generally be served at 19:00 unless under special circumstances. Check-out time is 11:00 and 12 noon on Sundays. La Croix du Reh reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice
