Our small and friendly bed and breakfast is located in the heart of lush Normandy countryside and has three spacious, well-equipped and supremely comfortable rooms.

Relax in our traditional red-brick maison bourgeoise - built by the village mayor in the 19th-century - set in nearly four acres of grounds in rolling countryside, close to the peaceful hamlet of Aubry-le-Panthou. Set on a hillside known as La Pognandière on a quiet country lane with lovely views over Normandy's beautiful Pays d'Auge, our friendly B&B is ideally placed for sightseers, tourers and those seeking a restful retreat away from it all.

Our bed and breakfast is perfect for a restful weekend break or longer stay away from the hustle and bustle. Though you may be tempted just to kick off your shoes and unwind with a good book, there's much to see and do in the local area, and La Pognandière is popular with sightseers and tourers keen to discover Normandy's gentle landscapes and wealth of visitor attractions.

Come home after a day exploring the beautiful Pays d'Auge and rest up on the terrace or the deck by the fish ponds, or relax in our delightful guest lounge, where you can snuggle up by the wood-burner on chilly winter evenings.

Bedrooms are supremely comfortable and good-sized with lots of thoughtful extras to help you feel at home. La Pognandiere is a delightful B&B, superbly located in lush green countryside in Normandy's striking Pays d'Auge. The B&B is perfect for a peaceful get-away, ideal for couples and small groups of friends seeking a restful break away from the hustle and bustle. But, though you may be tempted just to kick off your shoes and unwind, there's much to see and do in the local area and the B&B is equally well-suited to families looking for fun activities to keep the children amused.

Heritage lovers will enjoy fascinating châteaux, fortifications, gardens and war memorials, while the beaches - including the moving landing beaches - are just a scenic drive away.
