Rowthorne Village is an ideal location for that relaxing care-free break at anytime of the year. The village is only a 5 minute drive from junction 29 of the M1 yet it is almost in another world, set in the heart of beautiful Derbyshire countryside. There are ten houses scattered throughout the village with two working farms, both arable and live stock.

Pear Tree Farm itself was a working farm up to about twenty-five years ago when the farm and its outbuildings fell into disrepair. The then owners (Chatsworth Estate) decided to sell the property as five separate units and each one has been lovingly restored to a very high standard.

The Barn is the last of the outbuildings to be restored being completed in 2003, providing high quality accommodation that is furnished to a high standard. Pear Tree Farm Barn is the only holiday accommodation available in the Village.

Situated only 15 minutes leisurely walk from historic Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire, (a National Trust Property) in the conservation village of Rowthorne; Pear Tree Farm Barn offers first class, five star self-catering accommodation, with two en suite bedrooms (one twin and one double), in a tranquil and picturesque setting.

The barn is set to the side of Pear Tree Farm House, a grade 2 listed building. It overlooks beautiful open countryside where horses graze and there are views from the garden over Chesterfield.

Expertly converted in 2003 providing luxury self catering accommodation for a maximum of 4.
