Description of holiday apartment near Vera, Andalucia
Pueblo Salinas is a beautiful new development close to the lovely Spanish town of Vera, Almeria. Almeria boasts the highest hours of sunshine and lowest rainfall in Europe. The apartment is within a secure, gated development with beautiful landscaped gardens and pools. 1Km away you will find the Blue Flag beaches at Vera Playa and Mojacar Playa. Mojacar village is stunning; a white village set on a hill with lots of bars, restaurants and an amazing view.
The location of the apartment is excellent if you enjoy golf. Just 4Km away is the famous Desert Springs Golf Course which has a challenging 72 par Arizona style championship course. Also only 5 Km from Valle del Este Golf Course and a short drive to Playa Serena, Almerimar and many more. There is shopping at Almeria or Murcia and lots of lovely restaurants close to the apartment. Explore the lovely villages of Carbonares or Tabernas; we are only 2 hours from Granada and skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
The apartment is in Pueblo Salinas....'The Green Resort of Vera'. It is situated on the top floor (3rd floor) in a very private location only meters away from and overlooking the pool. There are showers at the pool and lots of space for sunbathing. There is a parking space for your personal use outside the apartment.
The lounge has seating for four people, flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player and patio doors to the terrace. A dining table which seats four, air conditioning and heating.
There are two lovely bright bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Both with fitted wardrobes and the double bedroom has air conditioning/heating and patio doors to the terrace. All the bedlinen is provided.
The kitchen is fully equiped with cooker, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and all the necessary utensils. There is an adjoining utility area with a washing machine and laundry supplies. A welcome pack will help you relax on your arrival.
The bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet and bidet. There are lots of towels provided and a hairdryer.
The terrace is very private and is accessed from either the lounge or the main bedroom. There is a lovely view of the pool and with table and chairs it's perfect for al fresco dining. If you get up early there is a beautiful sunrise to greet you.
The tropical gardens have been beautifully landscaped, with pools, streams and pathways. Places to sit in the sun or shade and just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Sports areas include tennis, softball and football.

GolfAlmeria Province is becoming a very popular destination for golfers..especially during the winter months, due to the mild temperature and beautiful location.
Desert Springs Golf Course
Just a few km away from the apartment.
The championship Indianna Course (par 72), designed by Peter McEvoy, will present a challenge to both high and low handicappers. As Almeria Province has some desert like landscape, this course is visually stunning as soon as you arrive at the entrance. PGA professionals, practice facilities and pro shop are just some of facilities available. It's a good place for lunch too; food is available in 'El Torrente' restaurant in the clubhouse or a light snack out on the deck area. Recommended.
Valle del Este
A few km drive in the opposite direction takes you to Valle del Este. Another beautiful course (par 71), also with PGA Professional, pro shop and practice facilities. 'Fairways Restaurant', or 'Hole in One Venues Bar' offer a good choice of food.
Club de Golf Playa Serena
This par 72, 6226 metres course is situated in Roquetas de Mar, about 1 hour south of the apartment. Roquetas was once a fishing town, but now it's a popular tourist destination with fine beaches and nice restaurants. The golf club here is also a nice place for lunch. Club, buggy hire and professional coaching available.
Golf Almerimar
Just a few miles south of Roquetas is the 27 holes at Almerimar Golf. Designed by Gary Plyer, the setting is fabulous; right on the coast just behind the lovely Almerimar Marina. This is a good
place for a visit...good restaurants at the Marina, lovely beaches and challenging golf.
La Envia Golf and Country Club
Located in a beautiful valley in the mountains of Vicar, the par 70 La Envia Golf and Country Club is only 20 minutes inland from the city of Almeria, or 1 hour from the apartment. It has spectacular
views from the course and a lovely terrace for lunch afterwards.

Desert Riders is located at Tabernas(about 60kms). They offer treks and riding lessons.

Near Tabernas, this Wild West theme park is based around sets from the many spagetti westerns which where filmed here. There is also a zoo, so it's a fun day for everyone.
