Description of holiday apartment near Sao Martinho do Porto, Costa de Prata / Silver Coast

This is a lovely two bedroom apartment, each with twin beds. Located on 2nd floor with views over the bay.

The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is cosy and comfortable for up to 6 people - however, we prefer to limit occupancy to 4.

We have installed UK FreeSat TV so you don't miss your favourite programmes.

Secure door entry and elevator up to rooftop gym and pool.

I supply all bedding and linen and beach towels and have tried to think of other things that would make your holiday easier - less to pack. I also supply a portuguese mobile phone and dongle for internet access - both are pay as you go.

Lots of information about local area is in the apartment. We have four sun loungers at the pool with sun mats. There will be some games, lilos for kiddies.

Welcome food/drink packs can be supplied also.

Location description

Located on the outskirts of town surrounded by farming and countryside, horses and sheep roam relatively freely. Overlooking the railway track which is very old fashioned and slow with only about 2 or 3 trains a day. A sight to see!

Other activities

Go karting in Lourinha and Bombarral, new waterpark just opened in Nazare, also within one hours drive from the famous pilgrim site of Fatima and then not far from Tomar, famously linked to the Knights of the Templar.

Local events

Lots of things to do in high season in Sao Martinho, annual festivals are great fun and not far from beautiful Obidos and Nazare. Also in summer bullfighting events take place in Nazare and Caldas – they do not kill the bull in this region!
