Podere Acqua Bona is a typical Tuscan colonic house in the most charming hills of central Tuscany 6 Km far from San Miniato (train station www.trenitalia.com, taxi stop) and a few minutes (40) from Pisa and Florence airport. The main Tuscan cities of art, Florence (40 km), Pisa (40 km), Lucca (45 km), Volterra, San Giminiano are in the neighbourhood. We offer a holiday marked by nature, art, culture, wine and good food.

Podere Acqua Bona, which is part of historic estate of Sassolo, lies on one of the most beautiful hills of S. Miniato, surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves in a panoramic position with stunning view over the sweet hills and situated in the heart of wine routes area. The Abetone mountains and Monti Pisani range in the distance. Shops, restaurants and essential service are just a few miles away.

The typical farmhouse, dating from XIX century, completely renovated in 2007 in respect of constructive Tuscan tradition with quality fittings and antique furniture, is divided into 2 independent apartments, comprising of the most up-to-date amenities and comforts, available for rent: the ground floor (for 2 - max 12 persons) and the first floor (max 7 persons). Delightfully furnished, these apartments can be rented separately or together. In our apartment at ground floor sleeps from 2 to max 12 people. The flat has two private entrance and in the main wing has a large charming livingroom with fireplace, very spacious diningroom, a kitchen fully equipped (oven, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, washing-machine, laundry area), an ample pantry, 3 bedrooms: one is a twin-bedded room, two are double-bedrooms. The second wing has one living room/kitchenette with 1 double sofà bed, 1 double room and dressing room. Further, if you are 12, two single bed may be added in the bedrooms whit a little extra. The apartment has in all 3 bathrooms, all with showers or bath. Tv . Private heating. Panoramic outdoor terrace and area, shaded from an old large tree, equipped with outdoor furniture (chairs, table, etc), barbecue grill, wood oven, in order to eat or relax open-air. Beside this private area, there are vineyards, olive groves and wood.

During your holiday you can walk around the house and also visit the typical villages of Bucciano, Montebicchieri, Balconevisi, Montopoli, Villa Saletta or fish in the little lake of S.Barbara, attend motocross races, take bath at the spa of Casciana Terme and S.Giuliano Terme, play golf on Castelfalfi green with 18 holes, reaching the seaside of Tirrenia or Viareggio, taste wine, virgin oil and eat good food, visit outlets in the leather’s area and much more. Nearby there are a beautiful complex of three swimming pools, tennis courts, rowing and equestrian clubs.
In the flat you find an interesting book with itinerary and all information to make your stay more agreeable and to enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday surrounded by the sweet Tuscan hills.

Location description

The Podere Acqua Bona is located in the Chianti region on a hilltop with breathtaking views over sweet hills and lovely village like S.Miniato (6 km), Bucciano (500 mt)e Montebicchieri (1,5 km), Palaia, Montopoli where delicious traditional restaurants and pizzeria can be found. The Podere has an enviable position to reach the main cities of art in Tuscany like Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Volterra and also the Nord Tuscan sea side.
In the village of La Serra, far from only 2 km, you can find coffee bar, tobacconist, grocer, butcher, post office, pizzeria and restaurants. In San Miniato and Ponte a Egola, far from 5/6 km, you can find banks, post office, petrol station, car service, coffee bar, chemist, supermarket and all necessary amenities.
