Saltburn is an excellent place to start your Yorkshire Coast holiday with the fully operational and original Victorian cliff lift providing easy access to the sandy beach below the town - ideal for a day out building sandcastles, kite flying or surfing. The town has an excellent selection of shops, a supermarket two minutes walk away and many restaurants and pubs to explore.

From A1, take the A168/A19 signposted Teesside. Continue until A174 signposted Teesport, Thornaby, Redcar. Follow A174 signs to Saltburn. On arrival at Saltburn, continue past railway bridge and parish church. Turn left into Station Street. Alpha Apartment is on the east side of Station St, just next to the Sue Ryder shop.
