The owner lives on site in the house at the front. Tyrone Pines takes one booking at a time only and is fully self catered and private for your exclusive use for up to 4 guests including the beach towels.
2 night min stays all year round except Christmas and New Year when a 7 night min applies. Please note our prices are in AUSSIE dollars !

Children of all ages are welcome Dogs by prior arrangement. A bond applies on all stays and our agreement will be emailed to you before a deposit will be taken as confirmation.

Location description
10 mins between the rugged Ocean beach and the bayside beach !!!Not many places in the world where the two can be reached so close together ! Come here and stay for the best golf courses in the World.
Best and many - over 50 - wineries and vineyards. Excellent surf beaches and calm shallow waters of the bay. Excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs. We are a small local town here but we do have a bit of night life. The sandy beaches and national parks are great for walkers. So much to see and do and so little time!!!

You need a car here to get around !!!! But if you are taking a day trip from Melbourne City -- Catch a train to Frankston and then a bus to Portsea getting off in Rye opposite the Tyrone Foreshore. Journey could take 2 to 3 hours depending on time of day and transport system.
You can hire a car from Melbourne airport or other car hire outlets in Melbourne city. Car drive to the Mornington Peninsula area around 90 mins.
