Welcome to the province of Salzburg and the Pinzgau region. The small village of Bucheben is located in the 30-km, sunny Rauris valley.

We are a Dutch family who settled down in this fantastic environment in 2005. Our cosy apartments are nestled in the Hohe Tauern National Park at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level at the foot of the 3105 m Sonnblick.

The slightly unusual name "Goldgrube" (Goldmine) dates back to the 50's, when the last professional gold washer still lived here. Gold washing championships still take place in the region today.

You can also try your luck at the Hütwinkl Creek that runs past the house.

Location description

Our outdoor facilities offer the following recreational amenities:
a tennis court with floodlights (in the winter ice skating), a swimming pool with a sun-bathing lawn and a barbecue with campfire site.
Except for local farmers the road along our house is used by cyclists and trackers only; children can play safely outdoors. For the kids we have a small playground with a swing, slide and play hut for the small and bigger boys there is a small soccer pitch. Your pets are welcome.

Indoors, the groundfloor amenities also include a sauna, infrared cabin, showers and skiing room.

Our 40-bed apartmenthouse has 6 different sized apartments for 2 till 13 persons. Due to its flexibility we can host small or larger groups for (family)festivities.

A cozy, all-wood dining room with bar and open fireplace and semi-professional kitchen facilities can be rented as well at such occasions
