Description of holiday apartment in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria

Puerto Rico is built up the sides of a steep valley. Our apartment is at the bottom level of a large complex which is much nearer the bottom of the valley than the top. We have a grass terrace with some outdoor furniture. Inside, there is everything that you need for holiday accommodation.

The complex has a large pool. The pool surround has sunbeds but these tend to be taken early in the day. The local beach is just a 7 minute walk and Amadores beach is a 20-25 minute scenic walk.

There is a supermarket, bars and restaurant within the complex and other shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The apartment is equipped for up to 4 people but is most suitable for a couple. There are two single beds in the bedroom area and a double sofa-bed in the lounge.

The kitchen is compact but well-equipped.

We provide a computer running Linux as well as free wireless broadband and a phone. There is an auto washing machine in the bathroom.

There is free parking in the street outside.

Location description

Puerto Rico is great for a sun / sea / sand holiday at any time of year. Unlike most places in the Canaries, it's NOT windy! You can laze on the beach or head inland to mountains, lakes and villages. There are plenty of tourist attractions including theme parks, water park, markets all accessibly by public transport: bus or ferry.
