Apartment Casa Alejandro is a one bedroomed self contained apartment with private pool 3.25 x 7.25 metres (from approx 1 metre deep to 1.8 metres) in a rural location in Inland Costa Del Sol. It is close to bars and restaurants.

From the private poolside entrance is the fitted kitchen complete with oven, hob, extractor hood, sink unit, cupboards,microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with ice making compartment. There is a dining table and 4 chairs in this open plan lounge/dining area. A double sofa bed, t.v. with English freesat, dvd, stereo, aircon/heating, selection of dvds and books are available in the lounge area.
The large bathroom has a full sized bath with shower over, sink and w.c. and the bedroom can be made up as a double or twin singles at guests request and we have a travel cot/spare bed available. The bedroom also contains a double wardrobe and twin bedside units with drawers.
The utility room has a washing machine, freezer, iron and ironing board, clothes airer and supply of inflatables/pool toys/parasols etc.

The apartment is an ideal location to explore inland Spain and yet not be far from coastal attractions.
Picturesque Lake Vinuela is just 5 mins drive away with its lakeside restaurants offering beatiful views.
The apartment has 270 degree mountain and country views with the white-topped hillside villages of Los Romanes and Comares opposite and Mount Maroma to the rear. The Alcaucin valley winds its way up to Granada via the ruin of an old Moorish Castle - Castilla De Salia, through a horseshoe pass and past the Hot springs of Alhama De Granada.
The coast is 15 mins drive away where you can access water parks,ancient caves, marine life, sailing trips, water sports, golf, fishing and many beaches.
There are several country walks from the apartment ranging from a half hour stroll to a strenuous all day hike and we can provide detailed instructions on finding your way around.

E15 – N340 to Malaga (right lane)

Go straight ahead across first roundabout
Move to Left lane signposted

Bear RIGHT for E15/N34/A7 signposted
Motril
Antequera
Ronda de Malaga

Move to the main carriageway but then stay in the right hand lane.

Ignore the right turn off to the industrial estate and remain in the same lane.

Follow the right lane which filters to the right (the two left ones go straight ahead) sign posted

You should now be on the main motorway.

Keep looking for signs

As long as you watch the lane changes (some filter off to the right which you don’t want to do) and follow Motril and/or Almeria you are on the main motorway to Velez Malaga.

Come off at this exit, keep in left lane on slip road to turn left round the roundabout onto
A356 – Signposted Colmenar/Zafarraya
Vinuela

Keep going straight ahead up this road, across the roundabouts, keep going ahead, until the steep crawler lane where you can overtake slow vehicles. When that ends take the next right – Signposted Alhama A402 and you immediately see the lake ahead.

You soon pass a road on the left signposted Hotel La Vinuela , then a road on the right, signposted Vinuela.

Carry along this road down the valley then up past petrol station on the left and take the next right turn signposted
A7205 Puente don Manuel/Alcaucin

Continue across the Eucalyptus lined bridge and past a little white church with a green door, then ignoring the turning on the left for Alcaucin bear to the right and uphill and approximately 250 yards second on the left is the opening to our urbanisation.

Turn left into the site, driving between two sets of three storey buildings not yet completed, along a short estate type dual carriageway towards some established villas. Bear to the right at the mini roundabout, following the road round to the left. Uphill, ignore the first road on the left but take the next concrete road on the left, you will pass two completed houses next to each other (the second and third are white and yellow and have a big brown gates). At the furthest end of this road is Casa Alejandro (Number 24)
