Spacious 70 m2 (800 sq. ft) inside and the outside, has a 16 m2 living room with three sliding doors giving access to a large balcony. Sliding doors complete with electric shutters. Very bright to let the 300 days per year of Algarve sunshine in. Sleeps 2 in the bedroom and 2 on the very comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room. The living room has a door allowing for a private space for sleeping. The balcony has plenty of space with wooden table and chairs and a chair to relax. With south, west and east views towards the river, sea, mountain and park (Parque da Juventude). Elevator access.

Location description

The apartment complexes are surrounded by other apartments and a large park called Parque da Juventude across the street. The park has a pond and a cafe to enjoy a drink before taking a stroll down to the nearest beach Praia da Rocha which is about a 15 minutewalk. The shopping centre Continente with cinema, restaurants, etc is less than 5 minutes of walking distance from the apartment. Portimao has a wide variety of bars and restaurants located around the towns main square and it is near to some excellent beaches including the very popular Praia da Rocha which has a casino right on the beachfront. In addition Portimao has a great selection of shops and boutiques and a popular market where you can pick up some Portuguese souvenirs such as ceramics lace and jewellery. For keen walkers and hikers the coastline around Portimao has some extraordinary scenery to view including craggy rocks and caves that have been fashioned by the crashing waves of the Atlantic.
