    Description

    Come and stay in this beautiful apartment on the 'Mediterranean Sunrise' complex.

    Situated in the traditional Greek Cypriot village of Oroklini just 20 minutes from Larnaca airport and a five minute drive to the beach.

    The apartment is right on the edge of the village giving an uninterupted view to the coast yet it is only a seven minute walk to the village centre. There you will find a well stocked supermarket, at least five very good tavernas, several popular bars, a bank, a pharmacy and two bakeries which stay open until very late!

    Nearby activities include a tenpin bowling centre as well as all the usual water sports at the beach. Larnaca town centre is 10-15 minutes drive away which has a wide range of shops, restaurants, clubs, bar and various entertainment facilities.

    This superbly appointed one-bedroomed apartment which sleeps 4 people was completed in May 2006.
    The apartment is on the first floor of this showcase development, 'Mediterranean Sunrise', built to high standard and exacting specification. There is a lift to all floors of the three-storey block. There is a designated parking space on the ground floor.

    The balcony has a beautiful uninterrupted view towards the coast across open countryside and olive groves to the blue Mediterranean !
    Start the day with breakfast on the balcony, in the Cyprus sunshine.....
    Then later, imagine yourself relaxing in the quiet of the evening, glass of wine in hand...

    If you have visited Cyprus before, you will always return....if this is your first visit, prepare to fall in love with this special place!

    Cool off in the fantastic feature pool!
    You will love the pool and the sun-lounging area - just right for making sure you go home with the best suntan!
    There are two feature pools for exclusive use of residents.
    The larger, deeper pool is a uniform 5ft depth. There is a bridge separating the deeper pool from the shallower one [this is ideal for children - 18 inches deep].
    There is also a whirlpool/jacuzzi beside the main pool and ornamental flower gardens complement the area well.
    It feels completely private in the pool area, as it is entirely enclosed.
    There are separate male and female showers, toilets and changing rooms situated beside the pool.
    Sun loungers are provided around the pool. At night, the pool looks fantastic when it is floodlit underwater.

    The apartment has an open-plan air-conditioned lounge with a fully-equipped kitchen at one end.
    Includes: fridge-freezer, washing machine, electric oven, electric hob, extractor hood, toaster, kettle, crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, iron and ironing board, cleaning utensils, folding clothes airer & pegs.

    The lounge has triple sliding doors opening on to the spacious balcony. It is furnished with clean modern furniture. There are two three-seater settees and a separate two-seater which converts into a single bed. A further folding bed is stored within the apartment.

    There is a satelite TV (free-to-air) and DVD player as well as a portable radio/CD player.

    On the balcony is a square wooden table and three matching chairs and two seater settee. Additional garden chairs are available.

    The bedroom has has a double bed and window with view over open countryside. There is fantastic built-in storage in two floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, incorporating shelves, drawers and hanging space.
    All bed linen is provided.

    Location description

    The apartment is on the edge of the village yet only seven minutes walk to the centre of the village. The village is a nice mix of ancient and modern having some very old mud brick houses at the top end of the main street. There are six or seven very good restaurants and a number of bars none of which tend to be rowdy. It is a lovely setting to sit in the evening and 'watch the world go by'.

    You will find almost everything you need in the village - well stocked mini-markets, banks, pharmacy, take-away, pizza parlour, dvd rental shop, internet cafe and two fantastic bakeries which stay open most of the night! If you are looking for activities there is a horse-riding centre and a go-kart track close to the village. There is also a tenpin bowling centre about a mile away.

    If you want more sophisticated shopping Larnaca town is a 15 minute drive away or there is a regular bus service from the village during the day. There is a sandy beach 5 minutes drive or about 35 minutes walk away where you will find a few large hotels and, therefore, all kinds of water sports on the beach, souvenir shops and restaurants.

    20 kms from Larnaca International airport.
    Local bus stop 1km (less than 10 minutes walk). Bus to Larnaca town takes around 20 minutes.
    Plenty of taxi companies on nearby coastal road. Ring them and they will pick up from the village.
