Description of holiday apartment in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur

The spacious apartment (52m2) is a family owned holiday home. We have it decorated to be comfortable for our own use. We rent it to help pay the costs and mortage!

Tha apartment is on the fifth floor a of small block of apartments with mostly all year round residents. It has a quiet ambience.

We bought it in 2007 and it has been completely refurbished with good quality furniture and fittings, including a new kitchen.

It has a sun terrace accessable from the bedroom, living room and kitchen and the terrace is ideal for taking the sun, relaxing with a book or glass of wine. We also have an outdoor table and chairs for alfresco dining.

The apartment has a full range of modern equipment such as an air conditioning unit, wifi, Cable TV, DVD, phone, and security entrance system. We have supplied a selection of novels, CDs DVDs and board games for those that just want to chill out. We invite guests to bring home a book if they haven't finished it and leave another to replace it.

We provide a full range of tourist information, maps, restaurants recommendations etc.We also provide a welcome basket with some essentials for your first day, including a bottle of wine.

Celine our multilingual rep, meets all guests, shows them the apartment and answers any questions.
She lives locally and is available during your stay if problems arise.

Location description

The French Riviera or Cote D'Azur has captured the hearts and imagination of generations of tourists. It has glamour and sophistication along with good weather, stunning scenery, French culture and cuisine. Nice, its capital is the perfect base to see it all. Antibes and Cannes within minutes by train to the west , Monaco and Italy within an hour to the east. Rural Provence can be explored by the inland narrow gauge
track train that leaves from Nice. In winter the ski slopes are within an hour. Ski and Surf in one day!
The apartment is in the chic Musicien's Quarter of Nice, within ten minutes stroll of the beach and old town, and 5 minutes from the shopping heartland and all the major transport links. No car required.

Most guests arrive through Nice International Airport just 5 Km away. This airport is served by many of the Budget Airlines such as Easy jet, Ryanair, Flybe and by up to 50 other airlines.

From Nice Airport; The 99 express bus from the Airport takes 25 minutes, runs each way every 30 minutes (€4). Set down at Gare Central (train Station) . Our Apartment is 350m south, on Ave Auber.

Motorway A8 Exit E80 to Central Nice . Follow directions to parking at Place Mozart (100m from Apartment)
