Location description

The traditional alpine village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig is nestled in the heart of Salzburgerland in the Austrian alps, 854m above sea level. Less than one hour’s transfer from Salzburg, the village is steeped in tradition, offering visitors exceptional value for money in a tranquil and stunning setting.

Surrounded by the mighty slopes of the Hochkönig massif, Mühlbach am Hochkönig is where young and old can feel revitalised. With a wide range of sports and outdoor activities on your doorstep, plus the chance to follow in the footsteps of a 5,000-year-old mining tradition, it is a village with a heart!

With the restaurants amd bars only a few minutes walk away, the village has everything you need for the perfect holiday.
