Villa i Cappuccini, situated in the middle of a forest, was an ancient Franciscan monastery of the 15th century abandoned by the monastic community in the 18th century and then elegantly restored. The various phases of restoration have been carried out in the total respect of natural habit and artistic values (terracotta floors, ceiling with wooden beams,...)

The estate comprises:

- il Convento, the main part of the historic villa. It offers all the conforts for a very pleasant stay. Sleeps up to 16 persons.

- two apartments, located on the first floor of the same building: casa Saragiolo (sleeps 4+1) and casa Aquilegia (sleeps 4), they both have independent access and are furnished with the taste of the typical rural Tuscan style.

- a park with dining area and a brick-built barbecue where guests have the possibility for a confortable outdoor life.

- a large private swimming pool (m.16x8) with sunbeds, chairs and umbrellas perfect to relax.

- a property of 36 acres with beautiful walks, forests and olive trees

- a small private chapel

All this area is of great artistic and naturalistic interest.

The beautiful villages of Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia and the thermal centers: Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo and Chianciano.
The Abazia di S. Antimo an extraordinary example of roman architecure at 9 km distance.
The natural park Monte Amiata.
Siena at 40 km distance, is an historical city of great artistic interest and it is well worth the visit.
Florence is about an hour drive.
You can also very easily reach the Tuscany coast of Maremma: Castiglione della Pescaia, Punta Ala, Monte Agentario, and the Tuscan Islands: Elba, Giglio
