This recently renewed beautiful apartment is located in Mezzegra, a peaceful small village on the western coast of Lake Como, close to world-wide known touristic locations as Bellagio, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia and their famous historical Villas (Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi, Villa Monastero, just to mention a few).

The apartment is 200 meters from the Lake Como shores and can host up to 5 persons. With brand new furniture and fully equipped, this accommodation is a convenient solution if you're planning to spend your holidays in one of the most well known touristic areas in Northern Italy.
The apartment is situated in a quiet building, surrounded by a private garden; a balcony and a terrace with lake view are also perfect solutions for your relax.

Although weather here is generally mild in winter, an independent heating system makes this accommodation suitable also for your winter holidays. Beautiful ski resorts are available in one and half hours drive.

Car parking is reserved for our guests.

The main services are available in walking distance: two groceries, a bakery, four restaurants, two bars, the post office are just 150 meters from the apartment.

A bus stop is also conveniently placed and allows our guests to visit the surrounding area; it is also a good solution for their return from hiking trips.
Boat stops are available in the villages of Tremezzo and Lenno, a few minutes walk from Mezzegra; using the public boat transport you can see "the lake from the lake" and enjoy the mix of beautiful landscapes of Villas, Gardens and natural beauty all along this charmy region.

For your holidays in full relax and quiet we invite you in our apartment, completely renewed and accurately equipped to provide you with the maximum comfort level. We welcome you in the heart of Tremezzina, the pearl of Lake Como and a very well known holiday resort for Italian and International guests, to share with you the unique blend of nature, the stunning landscapes, the historical and cultural heritage, the popular and culinary traditions.

We are in walking distance from the very well known Villa Carlotta, a touristic destination not to be missed with its garden-museum and art treasures (masterpieces by Canova, Hayez, Thorvaldsen).

The heart of the Lake area offers several opportunities for entertainment and culture as the small towns of Menaggio, Lenno with its Villa Balbianello (property of FAI – the Italian National Trust), Gravedona with its Romanic and Medieval churches and its 16th-century palaces. Crossing the Lake with the public boat service, it is possible visiting the characteristic village of Varenna with the Castle of Vezio and the famous Villa Monastero; Bellano and its gothic church; Corenno Plinio with its beautiful 14th-century castle, up to Piona with his ancient abbey facing the small Lake of Piona.

Directions

From Milan
Motorway A9 “Dei Laghi” (Lakes’ motorway), following direction Como-Chiasso-Switzerland.
Leave the motorway at the exit Como Nord (last exit for Italy); at the end of the ramp drive straight for 300m; at the roundabout take the 3rd exit (follow signs Argegno- Menaggio, National Road 340) and enter the tunnel. Keep straight on the National Road 340 for 25Km. As you get to Mezzegra, pass the main square (bars and shops on the roadside); you will see the Hotel Lario on your left: Via Albana is 10 meters before the Hotel Lario; our apartment is on Via Albana.

From Switzerland – by motorway
Follow the Swiss Motorway A2, direction Lugano-Chiasso-Italy.
Once you passed the custom control at the border (check point of Brogeda), take the first exit on the Italian motorway (Como Nord, 200m after the border) and follow the same instructions as in the paragraph above.
