'Panorama de Medina' is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex apartment which sleeps 4. It has 2 spacious south facing terraces with lovely views of the surrounding countryside stretching to the sea and the Bay of Cadiz. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and also includes air conditioning throughout.

The apartment is on 2 levels with the fully furnished kitchen, lounge/dining area, twin bed bedroom, and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there is the main bedroom (double bed- king size) and en suite.

Each level has a spacious terrace with ample room to dine or just lounge in the sun while enjoying the views.

The apartment is located on a quiet residential street in close proximity to the town square, café's, restaurants and supermarket. The apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd storey of a 4 storey building which also includes an elevator.

An enclosed garage space is also available and included in the price.

The TV shows both Spanish digital channels and also SKY TV.

Location description

Occupying a privileged elevated position in the upper town of Medina Sidonia with commanding views of the valley and sea below, the apartment is superbly located. The historical UNESCO World Heritage town of Medina Sidonia is in an unenviable location with beaches in Chiclana, Conil and Bolonia, mountains, natural parks and cities such as Jerez, Cadiz and Seville all a brief and scenic drive away. This desirable position affords unparalleled opportunities for exploring the whole region and even beyond such as a day trip to Morocco. A selection of the best beaches in Spain perfect for swimming, surfing and windsurfing or a walk in the surrounding natural parks making it an ideal base for outdoor activities. Maybe just lounge in one of the town's many outdoor café's and restaurants or the impressive square Plaza de Espana with it's 17th century Town Hall and Renaissance façade. There are also several excellent golf courses nearby and opportunities to do some shopping in Jerez and Cadiz.

Puerta de Belén, Puerta del Sol and Puerta de la Pastora are three arches that date from the Muslim era, built between the 10th and 13th century.

Plaza de Espana
Elegant Spanish plaza surrounded by handsome three storey buildings, bars and cafes. The Plaza de Espana is a favourite meeting place with its many cafes and bars and of course the famous cake shops of Medina Sidonia. The almond cakes were originally made by the nuns to sell and supplement the convents' income. Three of the main producers still working in the area are convents.

Restored 16th century stables formerly used by the Dukes of Medina-Sidonia.
