Description of holiday apartment near Lousa, Central / North Mountains

The apartment has a small flight of stairs to enter it, in the foyer there is a desk, with all the local areas to visit, whats on, and interesting facts about around us, there is a welcoming food and drink pack for you and a book about how to use everything in the apartment. Next the is the living room with a door off it to the breakfast balcony witch receives the morning sun. The living room is complete cosy and has feeling of home from home, to the right is the kitchen, which contains everything, if you need to cook, a washing machine and microwave, toaster and coffee perculator.

Then there is a lovely 1st bedroom with large wardrobes, and a dressing table, the 2nd double bedroom contains wardrobe, dressing table in the old portuguese style, here there is patio doors leading out to the 80 sq mtre sun terrace which as barbecue, table chairs, sun loungers, and hopefully for 2011 a nice pool. then there is the 3rd bedroom with 2 large single beds shelves for clothes, all windows have shutters to keep the place cool in summer and all fitted with ceiling fans.

You will be surprised about how much there is to see and do around, the cafe near by is very friendly and cheap, Lousa has many supermarkets restaurants, cafe bars, 2 pool , many river beaches, a park, museum and a lovely chapel in the hill above, to the right is Miranda town which has a huge outdoor pool a mine zoo and a pets corner and horse riding.

Coimbra is lovely historic city with much to see lots of shops cinemas, river canoes, very nice. Also near by is go karts, bike hire, ten pin bowling and paragliding.
