Gwylanedd Penthouse is a beautiful rooftop high apartment which looks directly down across the beach. It is 44 steps to the top so not suitable for the infirm. The views from the lounge and two bedrooms are unique and unforgettable. Looking to the right along the promenade and across the beach lies the Great Orme with Llandundno beyond. Looking straight out to sea directly in front is Puffin Island and Penmon lighthouse. Looking to the left across the Lavan sands towards Anglesey and Beaumaris. Due to the curvature of the apartment visitors have more than 180 degrees of seascape vista.

The Penthouse is a private suite and visitors need to be thoughtful and considerate to the other residence who live in Gwylanedd. The property has just been renovated at great expense and is being furnished to a very high standard. We anticipate it will receive a 5 star grading when it is reviewed by Visit Wales. At time of writing we are adding the finishing touches to this lovely apartment Sony TV, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, quality oak beds with superior mattresses and cotton sheets (400 thread count). Flooring is oak. Bathroom has a P shaped bath with shower.

The kitchen is fully fitted out and is brand new. Habitat table and chairs views across the mountains of Snowdonia. We have adopted a policy of treating our visitors to the very best fittings and furniture and have found that they have respected this in our other holiday apartment and return year after year. The Penthouse will be a special beautiful place where visitors will want to return throughout the year.

Location description

Nestled in a peaceful welsh village in Snowdonia's National Park Llanfairfechan is ideally placed for touring North Wales. Offering spectacular scenery rugged mountains and quiet secluded beaches. The area has numerous national trust sites a wealth of local history. Numerous golf courses. Two hours gets you to Manchester, Liverpool or Dublin for day trips.

Conwy 6 miles away is mentioned in the top 100 golf courses. Hosting the Ryder Cup seniors open in 2007 Recently the televised S4C Ladies Championship of Europe. Our village has a quiet and scenic 9 hole course. Bangor Caernarfon Llandudno Beaumaris are all within half hours drive.

We are less than 100 yards from the beach. We had a sighting last year of a pod of porpoise from the lounge window. Llanfairfechan is situated between Llandudno and Bangor it is a quiet coastal village and is ideally placed for touring Snowdonia. 2 hours gets you to Manchester, Liverpool, or Dublin on the fast ferry from Holyhead. We are 200yds from Llanfairfechan Railway Station. Snowdonia offers something for everyone with a wealth of history and 5 world heritage sites close by. Spectacular mountains, a walkers paradise. Many great golf courses. Fishing. The oldest language in Europe.
