West Shore is the quiet sandy expanse of beach on the estuary of the River Conwy.
It faces the Snowdonia National Park on the East and the Isle of Anglesey to the west

The beach is served by a promenade along its entire length. Ample car parking is available both on street and pay/display facilities.

The Great Orme a 5 mile walk or ride with the most fantastic views. Ski & Toboggan slope, Happy Valley with the longest Cable Car in Europe.

10 Min walk to town saves parking! Many Restaurants, pubs and shops. There is also a trolley bus thats travels back and forth all day.

West shore has cafes, bar, shops, post office, chip shop and hairdressers within walking distance.

Directions

From Chester take A55.
Turn off A55 at turning for A546 Degangwy & Llandudno Junction.(this is the turning after Llandudno).
Follow A546 over mini island (Tescos)
A546 over large island.
Continue on this road thru Degangwy.
Pass Maesdu Golf Course.
Bear left over Railway bridge.
Continue on same road (it becomes Bryniau Road.)
Then it becomes Great Ormes Road.
Pass One Stop on left and come to a mini roundabout.
Take a left then a right around the Victorian Tram terminus.
The cream building on your left park anywhere.
Parking space at back of the building.
