The village of Le Pradet, with a population of approximately 11,000, lies east of Toulon on the Mediterranean Sea. Le Pradet is known for its seaside location, unspoilt nature (national park) and wonderful climate – a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Our family apartment is located in an idyllic spot alongside Les Oursinieres, a hamlet of Le Pradet. Les Oursinieres is a quaint fishing port and is well known locally for its safe beaches and balmy water. A 5 minute stroll from the apartment will bring you to the beach of Les Oursinieres, where you will find a number of cafes and restaurants. From there you can wander along the coastal walking track where you will discover a number of coves and beaches, with cafes dotted along the way.

The apartment is on the 1st floor of a 2-storey, small and secure residence complex - fully gated with keypad code access and on-site caretaker. Within the Residence, consisting of Provence style terraced houses, there is a magnificent swimming pool (fully enclosed with child-proof safety latches on the gates), wonderful garden area, tennis court and facilities for table tennis and petanque. Our apartment overlooks the swimming pool and lush surroundings, including a hillside vineyard.

The apartment itself is a fully self-contained 2 bedroom loft conversion. One bedroom is located on the main level whilst the other is located in the spacious loft area. On the main level there is also a large covered balcony/dining area (16m2 with built-in BBQ), fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and separate toilet. The local area has plenty for everyone. Great walking & cycling tracks, rock pools, snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, fishing (rod & spear), boat trips to the islands of Hyeres, mineral mine museum, traditional Provencal markets, day trips around the Var to places such as St Tropez, Cassis, Aix-en-Provence........or simply choose to idle the time away on the beach, by the swimming pool or at one of the many local cafes.

All activities and local attractions can be accessed on foot or by the local bus service - the bus stop is a 3 min walk from the apartment. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby, along with a bakery and a pharmacy. Please feel free to email me if you would like more detailed information on the local area.

Bedrooms:	2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 2 Double/s, 1 Single/s, 1 Sofabed/s Main Level - Sleeps 2 - Double Bed; Loft Area - Sleeps 3 - Double Bed & Single Bed; Living area - Sleeps 1 - Sofabed. *Both beds in the loft are brand new - purchased May 2011. *The double bed in the bedroom on the main level was purchased November 2010. There is a wall-mounted television in the bedroom on the main level.
Bathrooms:	1 Bathroom/s 1 Shower/s, 1 Wash basin/s, 1 Toilets/s Modern bathroom comprising of Shower, Washbasin with cabinets and Heated Towel Rail. The toilet is separate. The shower and toilet have handrail supports fitted to assist those with reduced mobility.
Lounge:	Seating for 6 people TV, Satellite/Cable TV, Books/Magazines The living area includes a very comfortable electric reclining armchair. Some English language channels available on the TV. Books in both French and English available in the loft area.
Dining Area:	Seating for 6 people As there are 2 dining tables it is possible to dine on the balcony or in the dining/living area. Each dining table has its own set of 6 chairs.
Kitchen/Utility:	Oven, Hob, Grill, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Coffee maker, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Ironing board, Iron Fully equipped kitchen which also includes toaster, electric jug, filter coffee machine, cooktop extractor fan, separate fridge and freezer. Also available for use - Iron and ironing board, Vacuum Cleaner. The built-in charcoal BBQ on the balcony is equipped with a grill plate and BBQ utensils. The Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave and Vacuum Cleaner are all brand new - purchased May 2011. There are 2 extendable washing lines and a clothes drying rack on the balcony. There is a coin operated tumble dryer in the communal laundry room within the residence (1.00 euro for 30 minutes)
Outdoors:	Swimming Pool, BBQ, Shared garden, Balcony, Sunloungers, Patio table, Patio chairs, Sunshade, Outside shower The apartment has a spacious covered balcony (16m2) with a built-in bbq and can be used for dining all year round. The balcony overlooks the swimming pool and lush surroundings. The swimming pool is fully fenced with child proof locks on the gates. There is a childrens paddling pool which is partitioned from the main pool. Sunloungers (brand new June 2011) and chairs around the pool are free for guests to use. There is an outside shower in the pool area. Also within the residence is a tennis court and facilities for petanque and table tennis.
Access:	Car not essential, Off road parking, Secure parking, Private car park, Stairs Private parking space is directly opposite the entrance to the apartment within the secure residence. Closest bus stop is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is on the 1st level of a 2-storey terraced block with access by stairs.
Services:	Linen provided, Towels provided, Cleaning extra, Babysitting All linen and towels are included in the rental price. Please bring our own beach towels. Cleaning is not included but can be arranged through our local representative. Babysitting can be arranged through our local representative with reputable families in the local area.

Deposit/Booking Notes: Changeover day - During high season and holiday periods the changeover day is normally Saturday but we may be able to accommodate arrival and departure days other than a Saturday - please contact me for further information. Our local representative, Christelle, will be your host for the duration of your stay. Christelle will welcome you on your arrival and provide all the information you require.

Linen and Towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own beach towels.

Cleaning - products and equipment provided in the apartment, including a vacuum cleaner. Guests may perform the final clean themselves or alternatively arrange for this to be done through our local representative for a fee of EUR 55.00

Deposit - your booking will be confirmed on receipt of a 35% deposit. For those booking more than 6 months in advance a lesser deposit can be paid to secure the booking.

Security Bond - On arrival we would appreciate a cheque for euro 500.00 (or your local currency) which will be held by Christelle for the duration of your stay. After you depart and following a satisfactory inspection your cheque will be returned to you. Alternative payment methods are available if you do not operate a cheque account.

Location description

"Paradise Le Pradet" is situated 11km east from the centre of Toulon, on the Mediterranean Coast.

A car is not essential as all activities and local services are accessible on foot or by the local/area bus services.

The closest bus stop is a 3 minute walk from the apartment and is very reasonably priced. For example, a single trip within the area (Toulon, Hyeres etc) is EUR 1.40 per person, or EUR 1.00 if a 10-trip card is purchased (available from the Tourist Office in Le Pradet). A single trip between Toulon and St Tropez is EUR 2.00 per person.

Although there is plenty to do in the immediate area for everyone, the region offers great day-trips including:

- Islands of Hyeres
- St Tropez
- Arles
- Aix-en-Provence
- Cassis

New for 2011 - Easy access to St Tropez!
You can now drive/catch the bus to Le Lavandou and take the ferry to St Tropez. Le Lavandou is approximately 34 km from the apartment.

Each Friday morning there is a local provencal market in the centre of Pradet.

There are 3 supermarkets in Le Pradet, all accessible by bus. As an alternative our local representative can assist you with your grocery shopping requirements.

By Plane - Toulon-Hyeres Airport (approx 15km east) is a small international airport with direct flights from/to:
