The village of Le Pradet, with a population of approximately 11,000, lies east of Toulon on the Mediterranean Sea. Le Pradet is known for its seaside location, unspoilt nature (national park) and wonderful climate – a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Our family apartment is located in an idyllic spot alongside Les Oursinieres, a hamlet of Le Pradet. Les Oursinieres is a quaint fishing port and is well known locally for its safe beaches and balmy water. A 5 minute stroll from the apartment will bring you to the beach of Les Oursinieres, where you will find a number of cafes and restaurants. From there you can wander along the coastal walking track where you will discover a number of coves and beaches, with cafes dotted along the way.
The apartment is on the 1st floor of a 2-storey, small and secure residence complex - fully gated with keypad code access and on-site caretaker. Within the Residence, consisting of Provence style terraced houses, there is a magnificent swimming pool (fully enclosed with child-proof safety latches on the gates), wonderful garden area, tennis court and facilities for table tennis and petanque. Our apartment overlooks the swimming pool and lush surroundings, including a hillside vineyard.
The apartment itself is a fully self-contained 2 bedroom loft conversion. One bedroom is located on the main level whilst the other is located in the spacious loft area. On the main level there is also a large covered balcony/dining area (16m2 with built-in BBQ), fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and separate toilet. For further details of each room please refer to the "Facilities" section.
The local area has plenty for everyone. Great walking & cycling tracks, rock pools, snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, fishing (rod & spear), boat trips to the islands of Hyeres, mineral mine museum, traditional Provencal markets, day trips around the Var to places such as St Tropez, Cassis, Aix-en-Provence........or simply choose to idle the time away on the beach, by the swimming pool or at one of the many local cafes.
All activities and local attractions can be accessed on foot or by the local bus service - the bus stop is a 3 min walk from the apartment. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby, along with a bakery and a pharmacy. Please feel free to email me if you would like more detailed information on the local area.

There is a coin operated tumble dryer in the communal laundry room within the residence (1.00 euro for 30 minutes) |

There is a childrens paddling pool which is partitioned from the main pool. Sunloungers (brand new June 2011) and chairs around the pool are free for guests to use. There is an outside shower in the pool area. Also within the residence is a tennis court and facilities for petanque and table tennis. |

Deposit/Booking Notes: Changeover day - During high season and holiday periods the changeover day is normally Saturday but we may be able to accommodate arrival and departure days other than a Saturday - please contact me for further information. Flexible changeover is available during shoulder and low seasons.

Our local representative, Christelle, will be your host for the duration of your stay. Christelle will welcome you on your arrival and provide all the information you require.
Linen and Towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own beach towels.
Cleaning - products and equipment provided in the apartment, including a vacuum cleaner. Guests may perform the final clean themselves or alternatively arrange for this to be done through our local representative for a fee of EUR 55.00
Deposit - your booking will be confirmed on receipt of a 35% deposit. For those booking more than 6 months in advance a lesser deposit can be paid to secure the booking.
Security Bond - On arrival we would appreciate a cheque for euro 500.00 (or your local currency) which will be held by Christelle for the duration of your stay. After you depart and following a satisfactory inspection your cheque will be returned to you. Alternative payment methods are available if you do not operate a cheque account.

Location description
"Paradise Le Pradet" is situated 11km east from the centre of Toulon, on the Mediterranean Coast.A car is not essential as all activities and local services are accessible on foot or by the local/area bus services.
The closest bus stop is a 3 minute walk from the apartment and is very reasonably priced. For example, a single trip within the area (Toulon, Hyeres etc) is EUR 1.40 per person, or EUR 1.00 if a 10-trip card is purchased (available from the Tourist Office in Le Pradet). A single trip between Toulon and St Tropez is EUR 2.00 per person.
Although there is plenty to do in the immediate area for everyone, the region offers great day-trips including:
- Islands of Hyeres
- St Tropez
- Arles
- Aix-en-Provence
- Cassis

You can now drive/catch the bus to Le Lavandou and take the ferry to St Tropez. Le Lavandou is approximately 34 km from the apartment.
Each Friday morning there is a local provencal market in the centre of Pradet.
There are 3 supermarkets in Le Pradet, all accessible by bus. As an alternative our local representative can assist you with your grocery shopping requirements.

Driving - The closest motorway junction is the A57 which is approx 8km from the apartment.
Train - For major train services the closest station is Toulon (Gare de Toulon, approx 11km). From the station there is a direct bus service to Le Pradet, and also taxis. Alternatively, a personal pick-up/drop-off service can be arranged through our local representative.
By Plane - Toulon-Hyeres Airport (approx 15km east) is a small international airport with direct flights from/to:

- London City (CityJet)
- Liverpool (Ryanair)
- Rotterdam (Transavia)
- Brussels (JetairFly)
- Paris Orly (Air France / KLM)

By Plane - Marseille or Nice Airports. There are good transport links to Toulon Train Station (Gare de Toulon) where there is a direct bus service to Le Pradet, and also taxis. Alternatively, a personal pick-up/drop-off service can be arranged through our local representative.
