Sunburst Apartment (Sleeps 4-6)

The kitchen has all modern appliances required to make a self-catering stay incredibly simple. The dining and lounge areas are well-furnished with comfortable sofas, coffee table, CD player, digital TV and DVD. The lounge opens onto the private terrace with table and chairs.
The Lemon Grove
Surrounded by fields and groves of olive, orange and lemon trees, Lemon Grove is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Polis in the unspoilt Chrysochou area of Cyprus.
A delightful low-density development, it has a lovely open character with rural views in all directions, including east to the mountainous Paphos Forest and west to the Akamas hills. With just 2 or 4 apartments in a block, each apartment has its own outside entrance: (no echoing stairwells or bleak corridors). Lemon Grove is the perfect spot for a family holiday or a relaxing romantic escape: stroll along uncrowded beaches, explore the unspoilt Akamas trails, delight in the views from Cape Arnaoutis and unwind in the friendly tavernas. It’s no surprise to discover that Chrysochou means “The Golden Land".

Location description
Polis huddles round a central plaza that hosts a colourful daily market showcasing the best local produce. At sunset the market stalls are replaced with restaurant tables piled high with platefuls of meze and fresh local fish.
Once you've visited the archaeological museum and had a look at the medieval frescoes daubed on the walls of St Andronikos Church then it's time to explore some of Cyprus' least spoiled countryside. The nearby Akamas Peninsular is an untouched wilderness laced with hiking trails and secluded coves bitten from the pink rock. Offshore the waters are a glassy mosaic of greens and blues that promise some of the best snorkelling and diving on the island. There is also lots of open space for mountain biking.
The baths of Aphrodite are one of the most famous spots in Cyprus and Polis is just a 10 minute drive away from this mythical spot. This town is said to be one of the fastest growing in Cyprus because of its close proximity to some of the most stunning beaches.
Back in town it's only a question of time until you succumb to Polis' allure and begin to understand what is meant by the local boast that 'Cypriots from across the island come to Polis to remind themselves of exactly what it means to be Cypriot'.
Coral Bay is a half hour drive from Polis. It is arguably one of the most stunning areas of the Island. It boasts a 600m white sandy beach with shallow water ideal for children to play in. It also offers a range of more daring watersports such as jet skis, banana boats and windsurfing. This is definitely the resort for you if you want to relax. It is the ideal location for families and couples alike. There are a vast array of bars and restaurants to choose from in the evenings.
Nearby Paphos is one of the most popular resorts on the Island. It combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan tourist resort. It offers numerous places to eat and drink and lots of places to just relax and do nothing. The focal point of Paphos is the harbour at Kato Paphos where you can enjoy a cold beer (or two) whilst soaking up some history. Kato Paphos is listed as a World Heritage Site so there is lots to explore. If you feel like doing something a bit livelier, there are endless bars, restaurants and clubs in the resort.
