Description
Ischia Island La Terrazza (60 sq.m, max. 4 people) is a comfortable flat with its own entrance in a villa surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. Its large terrace with a rocking- and sun-chairs invites to enjoy the climate outdoors.
The accommodation is within walking distance of the next bus stop (50 m) and of the centre of Barano (300 m), a pleasant village that hasnt been influenced by tourism yet.
It's located near the greatest and most beautiful beach of Ischia-Island: spiaggia dei Maronti.

Location description
Ischia is famous for it's thermal springs and spas (Giardini Poseidon, Parco termale Castiglione, Parco termale Negombo, Parco termale Apollon Aphrodite etc), as well as for it's beautiful beaches.
The island is composed of six municipalities and our flat is in Barano dIschia, which consists of various inhabitated hubs:
Testaccio, Piedimonte, Fiaiano, Schiappone, Vatoliero, Barano and Buonopane.
With an area of 11,07 square kilometres it is the second largest of the island. Barano has a population of about 10.000 residents. The hilly area offers cool sea breezes and lovely walks through nature, vineyards and orchards. The attentive observer will see old volcanic craters hidden under vegetation, like the crater of Vatoliero. Barano has also the longest and most beautiful beach of the island, the Maronti beach, the famous springs of Nitrodi and Olmitello, discovered by the Romans.
Other activities
Boat trips around the island, to the neigbour island Capri and the beautiful coast of Amalfi. Climb on the top of the vulcany Vesuvio and visit the historic site of Pompei.
Local events
S. Anna Festival (July 26), S. Michele Festival (September 30), Ischia Film Festival (June/July) etc.

Directions
Naples is easy to reach by airlines . From the airport you'll go by taxi or shuttle bus (ALIBUS) to the harbour, where you can take a hydrofoil or a ferryboat to Ischia.
