El numero 8 is not a typical hotel. It is a traditional casa de vecinos "neighbour´s house" that was very typical to the Albayzin, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Europe. The original structure of the house has been maintained but the spaces have been converted into distinct and separate self-catered apartments, where the Innkeepers live on site. Each of the apartments is unique in its layout and design, with capacity that ranges from 2 to 4 people maximum.
Apartment #3, Chaouen
This apartment is decorated in a unique relaxed Arabic style. The bedroom has two single beds and the living room has a very comfortable futon sofa that can convert into a double bed, making it possible to fit a total of 4 people. The bathroom is located off of the kitchen. This apartment is located downstairs and adjacent to the interior patio which is a great place to hang out amongst the plants and the patio art.

Location description
Granada is full of countless attractions, including the mythical Moorish palace the Alhambra. El Numero 8 is located in the oldest neighborhood of Granada, and one of the oldest in Europe. Just strolling around the small cobblestone streets of the area, then visiting our local markets and bars is plenty of fun. But then there are the endless sites like the Cathedral, the Monasterio de San Jeronimo, La Cartuja, all the musuems, etc....But if all this was not enough, there are the surrounding mountains to go hiking, the ski slopes only 30 minutes away and the beaches that are only 45 minutes away. Boredom is not a possibility in Granada.Other activities
Here in Granada one of the main activities is going for Tapas. Here they give you tapas with every order of a drink so just sauntering from one bar to the next to get tapas can fill hours of fun.Local events

The house is located in the historic pedestrian area of Granada, the Albayzin. There is no car access to the house. Due to this there is a pick up process where the Innkeepers pick you up and bring you to the house.
