Our small-scaled apartment complex consists of three apartments that are behind beside the former church at the IJsselmeerdijkje. (IJsselmeerdike) so you can enjoy the beautiful susnset at the IJsselmeer.

All of our apartments have their own character and have good beds, quilts and bedlinen. Each apartment also has tv and a cd-, and dvd-player. The apartments have central heating. There is also a free WiFi-connection available in the apartments.

The apartments Zeezicht and De Consistorie are suitable for families that don’t like crowded vacation resorts. There is a beautiful beach for kids in Makkum. It’s possible to have, for a small fee, one pet (max.) in the apartments De Consistorie and Morgenstond.

Staying in one of our apartments? It’s also possible to use our canoe and barbecue. With our canoe, max. 3 persons, you can visit Makkum or Workum by water. Tip: pay a visit to the Jopie Huisman museum located in Workum.

Description apartment "Zeezicht": a steep outdoor staircase to your own front door; living room with bed couch, open kitchen, two bedrooms (one two person bed, two one person boxsprings and one-person folding), bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, washing-machine and own roofterrace with 6 person seat with view over the IJsselmeer.

Location description

The picturesque village of Gaast is about 5 kilometer away from the typical Frisian villages of Makkum an Workum. Near the apartment there is a lunchroom open in spring, summer and autumn.
The space and tranquillity of unspoilt Frisian shore of the IJsselmeer come together here and form the base of beautiful cycling-en hiking tours and of course also trips to towns and villages such as Bolsward (11km), Sneek (20km), Leeuwarden (40km), Harlingen (21km), Stavoren (20km), Hindelopen (11km), Sloten (30km) and the old university town of Franeker (30km). Dont forget to visit the oldest working planetarium of the world in Franeker.
