It is in the most sought after area of the historic center, Piazza Santa Croce, just a 3 min walk to the Duomo, Piazza Signoria and Lungarno. Sitting on the third floor of a 12th century building, this apartment is spacious, fully air-conditioned and quiet. Florencia is on a quiet but very characteristic street located directly in front of the famous Piazza. This historic building has only 2 other occupants. The large beautiful windows on both sides of this apartment open to views of the rooftops of Florence, the steeple of the Duomo and the tower of Palazzo Vecchio.

In restoring the apartment to high standards, every detail and care has been taken to bring the original beauty back. This apartment has a large living/dining room with full kitchen. A flight of stairs leads to a double loft bedroom with very high ceilings, 2 large windows, and a bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin. Another door leads to a small sitting room with 2 single beds, a loft double bedroom and a full bathroom.

Everything is within walking distance from the apartment. Step out of the building and you are in the center of the most popular area of the city for its characteristic qualities and history. The area is abundant in all types of restaurants, artisans, the famous Vivoli caffe and gelateria (the best in Florence). Within 5 meters you have butchers, bakers, small good stores, delicatessens, boutiques and all the treasures of the city. It is also close to museums, parking, bus stop, train etc. Piazza Santa Croce is famous for the being one of most beautiful Piazzas in Florence. There are also the tombs of the famous artist Michelangelo and the poet Dante in the church, which has are beautiful gardens behind it. Beautiful buildings dating back to the 12th Century, cafes and restaurants surround the Piazza. It is a popular spot for the Florentines to relax on the stone benches and read a newspaper or just take in the sun and for children to run chasing the pigeons across the Piazza.
