Self contained private apartment in traditional Catalan villa set in a very large peaceful parkland garden leading to the River Roma. Newly refurbished one double bedroom, lounge/kitchen, shower room with vanity unit and toilet. Direct access to the summer kitchen/diner (open to the garden on two sides) with washing machine, gas cooker, sofa and table & 4 chairs. The large sunny pool is set in calm peaceful garden with large private pool. Evening meals available on arriral/request. And of course, we are always happy to share a carafe of wine on the terrace in the evening. Additional rooms available in villa suite - two bedrooms, separate shower and toilet. Easy reach of shops, local village and small town of Ceret, beach, mountains, vineyards, art centres, rivers and lakes. Suitable for driving or biking thru France to Spain, range of activities locally, or just relaxing in peace and tranquillity. We ask guests to respect the peaceful tranquil surroundings. Smoking outside or summer kitchen.

Kevin does have an archery range if you want to try your hand.

Deer visit us regularly but not in June to September.

Location description

Maison Magnolia is set in the foothills of the Pyrenees, close to Spain. With excellent access to motorways and local routes, but not seen or heard, this makes for a marvellous location for all types of activities. The Vallespir valley has many small towns and villages nestling in the evergreen vales providing fabulous walking and hiking on the doorstep. The Cathar Trail is recommended. Visit the local vinyards for wine tasting.
