Location description

Angel Apartments are set in idyllic Heavenly Bay, Castara, a quiet fishing village on the North East side of the island, with the beach a few metres away and the warmer Caribbean sea. Its a place to totally relax away from it all and to set on the balcony and watch the world (and the local birdlife) pass by. It is worth hiring a car for a few days or go on a few trips to see this lovely island and spectacular beaches and bays. Take a walk to Castara's own waterfall - worth a stroll too. Fresh fish can be bought daily in Castara.

Other activities

Snokelling is very popular, and taking a boat out fishing is an exceptional day out or even a boat tour around the island with a stop for lunch etc. A trip into the capital Scarborough or even spend the day at Store Bay or another beach. Take is slow and easy......

Local events

Tobago has a carnival in February and many local festivals etc. Also the weekly Sunday School not to be missed with live music..

Bird Watching is brilliant, the rain forest trips, the nylon pool, the waterfalls, and again the carnival.

Directions

On leaving Crown Point Airport, take the Claude Noel Highway to Scarborough. In Scarborough turn left at the 2nd set of traffic lights into Providence Road – heading north. Further along, this roads splits, Providence Road and Northside Road – and you can take either as long as you head north to Moriah. Drive through Moriah, continue north towards the coast, to Castara. Drive through the village and turn left at Depot Road (be careful, it’s a very sharp turn with a steep drop) and drive down into Heavenly Bay – the sea will be on the left and the Apartments directly in front of you.
