Description of holiday apartment near Campoamor, Costa Blanca / Alicante

This is a 5 year old, two bedroom apartment on the newly created Playa Golf II estate, the property is on the first floor of only a three storey block. The spacious lounge has ceiling fans and opens out onto a large balcony with outside furniture for relaxing in the sun or ouside dining. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player with a selection of films but please bring along your own viewing choice. There is also a radio/ CD player for your use.

The fully fitted kitchen has fridge/freezer, halogen hob and electric oven, also toaster, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. This opens out into a utility room with washin machine, laundry sink, clothes airer, and ironing board and iron.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobes with a security safe, also ceiling fans and free standing fans.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds, built in wardrobes, ceiling fans and a free standing fan.
The bathroom is fully tiled with bath, shower, toilet, handbasin and bidet.

All doors and windows have shutters and lockable security grilles.
All towels except those for beach/pool use are provided as is linen.
50 metres away there is a swimming pool with childrens end and grassed area with benches and parasols, this is for the use of holidaymakers and can only be accessed by the security keys provided at the apartment. There is a playground on the estate, also local bars and restaurants and there is a supermarket. Highly recommended is "the White Rose Cafe" for breakfast and dinners.
The bus stop is right outside the supermarket which serves the local areas.

Should you hire a car (recommended), there is parking outside the apartment, there is alos a local british cab driver on the estate.

Location description

Campoamor is mostly a family area with many family restaurants and a group of blue flag awarded beaches. There is one of the biggest go-kart tracks in Spain only a few km away. Torrevieja has a large water park, crazy golf and many other attractions.

Santa Barbara Castle in Alicante is not to be missed(free entrance). Campoamor marina has boat hire and jet ski hire. There are at least three major golf courses very close by for the golfers amongst you and if you want either a family meal or a romantic meal be sure to visit nearby Villamartin Plaza, it's highly recommended.

Directions

Flying from the south of England you will find Easyjet fly into Alicante which although further than Murcia is far more convenient, You may wish to hire a car (recommended) which is cheaper to do before you leave the UK, full directions are included with booking pack. Upon leaving Alicante airport it is a short (1km) drive on the N338 then turn right onto the coastal N332 and we are only 50km from there. There are two bus services that run from a bus stop 1km from the apartment, these two serve the whole area.
