The studio is on the 4th floor (with lift) of an elegant portered building. It is bright, uncluttered and surprisingly spacious for it's 35 m2, with quite a big separate kitchen and a double (i.e. running the full length of the room and kitchen) balcony fitted with an electric awning so it's very pleasant to eat outside in spring summer and autumn.

With a very comfortable double bed (160 cms) and a possible third (folding) bed for a child or a cot for a baby, it is well equipped (including broadband connection) and in a wonderfully central location close to shops and beaches though still quiet as it overlooks a lovely large courtyard. Our tenants come back to us from year to year!

Location description

A delightful small town buzzing with life and loads of activities organised by the local 'Mairie' during the summer months (music, food/wine tastings, antique fairs, arts & crafts or local produce markets, fireworks, etc.). With dozens of coffee bars and restaurants, some fine delis, good bakeries, a renowned 'chocolatier' you will never go hungry! Two (free) pebble beaches close by - but for sensitive feet there are also private establishments providing beach beds, umbrellas, food and drink.

Other activities

Wind surfing, jetsky, para gliding, ferries to Corsica and Sardenia, great coastal walks or to 'discover' the dozens of wonderful medieval 'hilltop' villages in the immediate hinterland.

Local events

Numerous cultural and popular for both grownups and kids.

Tourist attractions

The French Riviera has been home to many many artists. There are works of art and some lovely museums to visit (Renoir, Matisse, Léger, etc.) Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Saint Tropez, so much to see!!

Directions

By air into Nice International Airport (NCE), then by taxi - or bus to the bus depot (gare routière) or train station (gare SNCF) and from there to Beaulieu by bus or train. Nice is about 6 kms away, the sirport is at the far western end so about 8). From Italy by car take the Genova-Ventimiglia motorway (A7), exit at Roquebrune/Cap Martin, follow Eze Village and then Beaulieu sur Mer. If by train from Italy change at Nice Ville for local train to Beaulieu sur Mer.
