This central Athens self-catering vacation rental penthouse offers the best of everything for families, couples or groups of friends looking to spend a few days to a few weeks within walking distance of all of the sights of this amazing historical city.
With three bedrooms and three full baths, our modern sky villa gives you luxury, space and privacy beyond what any of the city's 4 or 5 star hotels can offer, a prices comparable to a mid-range hotel.
In our Acropolis View penthouse, we can sleep, in bedrooms, from 2 to 10 guests, while leaving the spacious open living room free for relaxing and planning the days activities.
You'll find the the full size, American style kitchen to be stocked with everything you could need for preparing a simple breakfast or a gourmet meal. And with our 3 weekly farmer's markets, you'll be tempted to go Greek gourmet, so we've even stocked our shelves with cookbooks and spices for your use.
Of course you didn't come to Athens just to hang out in our place (which will be tempting, all of our guests agree it is hard to leave this terrific home), you're walking distance to the Acropolis and the Plaka, to the Old Marble Stadium, to Hadrien's Arch and the National Gardens. You're also an easy walk from the Benaki and Cycladic Museums, from the cafes and art galleries of Kolonaki, from the tavernas of Kassargianni. And of course, our own Imittou Street is a great place to relax mid day, with a frappe, watching the locals or playing backgammon.
This home also offers numerous amenities you won't find anywhere else in Athens, including free unlimited international long distance phone service, free high speed internet and a desktop computer and printer for your use, a full size clothes washer and clothes dryer, an IPOD docking station and changer, and a special workcenter which provides charging for your US/Canadian 110v electronics, like hair dryers, curling irons, cameras, cell phones and laptops. (If course, we provide haird dryers and a computer, so you can leave those home and lighten your load!)

Downtown Athens, Greece, the heart of history, with some of the most significant ancient sites in the world, yet at once a modern, cosmopolitan oasis surrounded by the sea and mountains. Our vacation rental home is just a short walk to the Parthenon and the historic center, along the way you'll pass the Old Olympic Stadium (Kalimarmaro Stadio) and the National Gardens. We've got three weekly outdoor farmers markets and an extra wide boulevard lined with cafes and restaurants where you can relax with the locals.Local events
Athens is a 12 month a year destination, though savy travelers know that November to May offers the widest selection of culture in the city, as musicians and performers are in the city entertaining the locals, and you're welcome to join in. Be sure to plan on a night out at a bouzoukia club, or a concert at the Megaro Music Hall. The nearby Neos Kosmos Cultural center has concerts and performances late fall to early spring. And of course, Athens is home to several world class musuems with fine permenant exhibits and intriguing special exhibits.Tourist attractions
