Description of holiday apartment in Amarilla Golf, Tenerife

Our privately owned apartment is situated on the ground floor and overlooking the heated pool from our sun terrace.The apartment sleeping up to six people is on Fairways, an exclusive complex nestled within a championship 18 hole golf course.

It has one bedroom, full size shower room with W/C and vanity unit. American style kitchen and a spacious lounge with a sofa bed, dining room with patio doors lead to a spacious terrace with table, chairs, sun loungers and barbecue, satellite TV, DVD. The modern fully-equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, toaster and washing machine.

The poolside Club Restaurant and the Island bar serve food from breakfast until late. You'll find there is a children's play area with safety flooring, they have a slide, swing, climbing frame and occasionally a bouncy castle, for the older children there's table tennis, pool and table football.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the ground floor and is accessible for wheelchairs, the bathroom door will not allow access for a wheelchair. All areas on the complex are wheelchair friendly.

Outside
On the sun terrace/patio there is sunbeds, parasol and barbeque. The swimming pool is large and heated and accessed by a security swipe card system giving you peace of mind from outsiders.

Coast/Beach
The apartment complex is only 10 minutes walk from the new marina with some of the most stunning views and walks on the south coast of Tenerife. There are small rugged beaches close by but the best beaches are a short drive to El Medano (10 minutes) or take a local bus (10-25 minutes) to Los Cristianos an Las Americas.

Golf
Fairways has the enviable position of being situated between 2 championship golf courses.

Travel
Reina Sofia Airport is 10 minutes away by taxi or car. If you want to explore the island you can hire a car at very reasonable cost (I recommend Orcar). There is also numerous coach trips and excursions which you can book at reception.

Distances
Playa Las Americas is 20 minutes by car, 30 minutes by local bus.
Los Cristianos is 15 minutes by car, 15-20 minutes by bus.
Los Abrigos (well known for it`s fish restaurants) 10 minutes by car or you can walk along the coastal path (30-35 minutes).

Further details
Again, within a few minutes walking there are numerous restaurants and bars. One of my favourites is a small bar down at the marina, I call it 'the shack',
it is great to sit and have a cold drink and relax.
