Located in Bucksburn, a suburb of Aberdeen, Scotland, this comfortable holiday apartment is within easy reach of Aberdeen airport, Aberdeen city centre, Dyce and Bridge of Don [both major Oil industry office locations].

It is the first floor apartment [with own private stone stair entrance] of a Granite built property which only has a ground and upper floor.

The apartment has two bedrooms.
Bedroom No1: Has a double and single bed, G Plan bedroom furniture and a large integrated wardrobe with plenty of extra storage space.

Bedroom No2: Has two single beds plus the same sized integrated wardrobe as the other bedroom.

The comfortable living room also has a dining area at one
end of the room. A light and airy room it also provides a Flatscreen TV plus DVD player, Digital radio/CD /iPod player.

The easy to use kitchen has a gas hob and electric fan assisted oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, integrated fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine, food processor, kitchen scales and quality cookware etc.

The Bathroom: Consists of a Mira shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

The accommodation is double glazed, centrally heated throughout, and is a home from home.

Free and easy parking at door, the apartment is close to the main route into town [buses run every 5-10 mins] and is perfectly located for those wishing to travel into Aberdeenshire to experience the castle Trail and Whisky trail.

There is a no smoking policy in the apartment. Children must be over the age of 12yrs, and sorry we do not allow pets.

Location description

Bucksburn is a suburb of Aberdeen and is located to the north west of the city beside the A96 main route north to Inverness and the Scottish Highlands. Aberdeen airport [ABZ] is a couple of miles away to the north and is easily accessed by bus, taxi and car. Heading back into the city a quick bus ride [ they run every 5 minutes] or drive takes you into the city centre, railway station and main bus station within 15 minutes. Dyce railway station is 2 miles away and you can travel into the city centre from there if you wish.
Malcolm Road in Bucksburn is a very central location for local amenities with a hair salon, beauty parlour, gym, churches, post office, banks, baker, butcher, small grocery, pub, hotel bar and restaurant - all within 3 minutes walk. Malcolm Road has free 24/7 parking and is a quiet street with little through traffic making it a peaceful location.

Other activities

Aberdeen is surrounded with quality golf courses, you can fish for trout at fisheries nearby [ hire all the tackle there] then cook your catch back at the apartment.

Local events

A variety of Highland Games throughout the summer in the Grampian area and all easily and quicky accessed from Bucksburn.

Tourist attractions

Easy access by car or coach to Cairngorm National Park [60 minutes away], Royal Deeside - Balmoral Castle [ Queens Scottish residence], Scottish Castle Trail, Whisky Trail, Bird watching, Hillwalking - walk up Bennachie it takes about 75 minutes up and 60 to come down! The views are fantastic!
